Michelle Ephraim, co-author of Shakespeare, Not Stirred, is Associate Professor of English at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She is the author of Reading the Jewish Woman on the Elizabethan Stage (Ashgate, 2008) and numerous essays on 16th- and 17th-century literature. Michelle’s humor essays and life-writing have appeared in publications such as The Washington Post, The Morning News, Tikkun, Lilith, and Word Riot. Michelle’s most recent work is on Shakespeare and popular culture. Her essay “Lady Macbeth’s Breasts” about the Kill Shakespeare comic series will appear in the forthcoming Kill Shakespeare: The Complete Edition (IDW, 2014). Speaking of funny things, Michelle and fellow Shakespeare professor Caroline Bicks write a blog called Everyday Shakespeare.
