Beatrice Colin is the author of the forthcoming To Capture What We Cannot Keep (Flatiron Books, 2016), and The Songwriter and The Luminous Life of Lilly Aphrodite, both published in the U.K. by John Murray. The latter, a Richard and Judy pick, was published as The Glimmer Palace by Riverhead in the U.S. and translated into seven languages. Colin is also the author of the children’s novels Pyrate’s Boy (2013) and My Invisible Sister (2010), the latter of which has been optioned by Disney. She writes radio plays and adaptations for BBC Radio 4, and has been shortlisted for a British Book Award, a Saltire Award, and a Scottish Arts Council Book of the Year Award. She is currently based in Glasgow as a lecturer at the University of Strathclyde.
